JAKE CAPRON – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Jake graduated with a degree in Grain Science from Kansas State University. After a few years working in food processing, Jake thought moving to Colorado and brewing beer would be a good career change. So he started working as a brewer for Anheuser Busch, and was soon working at the malthouse in Idaho Falls.
In 2016, Jake and his family moved down to Monte Vista, where he worked on the design and build of our first malthouse, got that up and running, helped get the Laurel malthouse up and running, and now works as the Director of Operations, in charge of production and planning at both malthouses. He’s a happy transplant to the Colorado mountains, pleased to be able to live the Colorado outdoor experience with his family.
