Proximity Malt Welcomes Abby Kanyer!

Proximity Malt is pleased to welcome Abigail (Abby) Kanyer to the team.  Abby earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Wellesley College in 2014 and pursued her Masters of Science degree from the University of California – Davis in Food Science and Technology.  Abby is finishing her thesis on exploring the prebiotic potential of beer and ultimately bolstering the notion of beer as a wholesome beverage. We are thrilled to welcome her at Proximity Malt as our Research and Development, Quality Coordinator.  Abby will be responsible for overseeing quality control in our centrally located pilot lab and headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – as well as our plants in Laurel, Delaware and Monte Vista, Colorado.  Abby will also work on recipe development and standardizing lab practices.
